Stonecrop Residence

The Challenge

The clients were renovating a 1850s stone home originally built by a stonemason, complete with uneven floors, 24” thick stone walls, and grand 12-foot ceilings.

They wanted a large, refined kitchen and dining space that would honor the home's history while integrating clean, functional millwork that felt more like heirloom furniture than cabinetry.

The Solution

We designed and built a sprawling custom kitchen using white oak material with an aged finish that complements the stone structure.

The cabinetry features integrated solid wood pulls framed within each panel—blending millwork with furniture sensibility. The layout includes a generous island, tailored banquette seating, and integrated design details that strike a balance between restraint and refinement.
