Fine Art Frames
This is our most successful product that has been made consistently throughout the life of the company. Our Fine Art Frames differ from commercially available frames because they are solid wood, and do not include any cheap metal fasteners. Instead, the 4 miter joints of the frame are reinforced with wooden splines that cross the joint perpendicularly. This gives the joint much more strength and durability over time, and protects your art. This frame design is commonly found in major Art Galleries and Institutions. The splines can be the same wood species as the frame for a subtle look, or they can be a contrasting wood to accent the design feature. We produce 3 basic stock frame profiles that are contemporary in style, but we also produce custom frame stock—made to order.
Please see the examples below of frame profiles and fill out the details in the form at the bottom of the page to give us an idea of what you are looking for. These profiles correspond to a price list and we will get back to you with a quote right away. Details like wood type and profile can be determined through custom consultation, and the form is meant to assist ballpark pricing.
